Preparation of blank
Titanium, bar and billet are generally produced by forging, hot rolling and extrusion. In order to guarantee the quality of rolled products, blanks should be machined or ground.
(1) heating system and final rolling temperature. The heating temperature of a+P titanium alloy was slightly lower than (ot+ P)/ P phase transition temperature before rolling. The rolling process is completed in a+p phase. The heating time is calculated according to 1-1.5mm/rnin. The heating temperature of titanium and titanium alloy bar before rolling and the final rolling temperature of profile are basically the same as the final rolling temperature of rolling bar.
(2) selection of other process parameters. Due to the large output of titanium and titanium alloy rolling profile, the product length should not be too short, and the rolling speed should not be too high. In the actual production process, the rolling speed adopted is generally 1~3m/s.
(3) according to the deformation resistance, width and elongation of titanium alloy, select roll pass of various steel profiles suitable for titanium alloy to roll titanium alloy profiles. If the titanium alloy profile is large in batch, the roller groove for titanium alloy can be designed according to the characteristics of titanium alloy.
